White Sands National Monument

We went out for a day trip recently to White Sands National Monument and had a blast! The kids really love it because they can sled on the sand hills, and fly kites all while being in shorts.

Smokey Bear Historic Park

We recently had the chance to go to Smokey Bear Historic Park in Capitan, NM. It was the actual area that Smokey Bear was found when he was a cub. Really quite the trip down memory lane seeing all of the old signs and materials!
